CHAIRMAN - PETER
Bachelor of commerce (Edinburgh University) Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants. 12 years with the Royal Duchy Shell Group of companies working in London, Qatar, Malaysia, and Norway. Joined Meddings in 1987 and developed Kingsley Close into a mixed industrial/office site which is fully let.
MANAGING DIRECTOR - MARK
CBSI / FPC I/II/II / BTEC Nat Business Studies – 35 years in business development growth, strategies, marketing new product development globally. Successfully developed NPD global product sales/marketing plans launching distributor based contracts $10m. Over 20 years of senior management experience within Automotive, Aerospace, Leisure and Construction. Focused and targeted to drive performance, profitability and operational excellence. Always looking to implement innovative and effective management, retaining core values for setting achievable aspirational goals for long term profitable growth.
FINANCE & HR MANAGER - EMMA
Financial Controller with almost 20 years experience working in the Engineering and Marine sector.
QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER - JOHN
25 years’ experience of Quality Assurance, including within Aerospace and Automotive environments. Experience of developing and implementing Quality Management Systems from the ground up, achieving certification and driving product quality improvements. Extensive involvement in product certification and approval, including CE, UL, and ATEX.
THERMALEC MANAGER - ALISON
Over 9 years of experience in The Meddings Group with a wide skill set that has helped implement key changes and see Meddings progress. Before working for The Meddings Group Alison worked for a international transport company in the accounts department gaining her AAT certificate that has led into her current role with procurement and process' whilst still helping the accounts department. With a diploma in international trade and working closely with import and export within Meddings she has been a wealth of knowledge for the company over the years.
I transferred straight from school to a mechanical engineering apprenticeship where I spent 5 years studying for my apprenticeship and completing a HNC in engineering. Focussing on the design department and completing many courses in Solidworks. This has helped me to expand my knowledge and skills of design software enabling me to aid all areas of the company. I have recently added the Fabrication Project Manager role, changing my direction within the company and broadening my knowledge of Fabrication.

MEDDINGS MACHINE TOOLS SALES MANAGER - EMMA
A decade of working within The Meddings Group is approaching for Emma. This job role consists of liaising with distributors and working closely with our agents for the sales of our parts and machines. Emma's rapport with customers, agents and suppliers pours through in her work, with repeat business, and her efficient work ethic. Product knowledge is key to this role, Emma is always on hand to lend advice, guidance and support you wherever needed so you buy the right machine for you needs.
MEDDINGS MACHINE TOOLS SALES ADMINISTRATOR - JACQUI
Jacqui joined Meddings early 2022 and has been a large part of the continued success of Meddings Machine Tools. Emma and Jacqui have gelled well together and are moving strength to strength.
Working in customer service for over 30 years has meant that new relationships have been forged and existing clients continue to receive a high level of customer service.
