Mechanical Engineer Apprentice
- Predominantly based with CAD design, 2D and 3D.
- Key interest in design and development.
- Working solely and as part of a team.
- Good time keeping, communication and willingness to learn.
- Ensuring commitment to quality whether in the design room or on the workshop floor.
- To develop a good understanding of all fabrication and manufacturing.
- Working with stainless, aluminium and other metals.
- Will develop or learn to weld in MIG/TIG.
- Will gain or develop confidence to communicate to external sources such as suppliers and/or customers.

Experienced Welder/Fabricator
-
Complete all manufacturing tasks as assigned by the Team Leader to a high standard.

Ensure units are produced to standard times and quality targets as per Company KPI.

Ensure a commitment to quality at all stages of production by self-inspecting of completed units before they move onto the next operation.

Able to interpret and read drawings/ CAD/Solidworks.

Weld using MIG & TIG, using and produce any relevant Certs in date or out of date

Be able to work on own initiative and with the team.

Fully capable of producing all fabrication work to a high standard and within all company policies and regulations.

Sheetmetal experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Forklift licence would also be beneficial but not essential.

Experience

Proven background in fabrication and welding in particular experience welding / fabricating stainless steel/Aluminium parts / assemblies.

Previous experience working in a small / large batch production environment.

Experience working within a strong safety culture.

Experience of working as part of a team.
-
City and Guilds / SVQ qualification would be advantageous.

Coded Welder
Knowledge
-
Must be able to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings and follow instruction.

Knowledge of production processes.

Coded welders would be advantageous.
